Sony Ericsson announces SDK for Xperia Panel

Sony Ericsson XPeria is not just another Windows Mobile Device. They are trying to do something like OpenOS. Windows Mobile is also one of OpenOS platforms. But Sony Ericsson seems to like to go beyond that. They releasees SDK for Panel interface.

Even though the hardware is developed by HTC, the software is in control of Sony Ericsson itself. A glimpse of that showcase gives me a good feeling.

Google Chrome (Google's own browser - open source)

The rumor has been around for a long time that google is developing their own browsers for their web applications. Now it surfaced again with clearer indication. (Now it is official)
The name is revealed as Chrome and the comic is up on the surface to show their design concept and how it will work.

Update: Now it is official. Google will announced it and hosted a conference to talk about Chrome.

Update2: I tried it. It seems faster but sometimes slow. Because it is using lots of processes, the situation where lots of process are already running slow the performance. Anyway, a few features are really my tastes. Secret mode, Detachable tab, Own task manager, and source inspector.

AppStore, Android Market, SkyMarket

Application store war begins.
Apple is leading the market with AppStore.
Android follows the trend with Android Market which is very similar to AppStore.
Finally Microsoft is trying to catch up with SkyMaket (I am not sure if this is a final name).

Now we will see what Nokia brings about Application Store. Will they provide it via Ovi?
