- Last year, there had been lots of rumor about Dell's mightbe new strategy in consumer market. They hired Motorola vice president and bought ZING systems for music. Some people had an inkling that they would reveal smartphone in this year (2008). Now, the rumor mill is running again. MarketingWeek say about the Googld Android phone from Dell. It says it will be revealed at 3GSM in Barcelona in the next Month. From the recent market specially in the US, smartphone seems to be a leading factor.

- One more surprise. Garmin, one of the best GPS navigator developers, announced their first mobile phone (named nuvifone) in the market. It gets intersting. Some of consumer players, such as Dell, iriver, Garmin, and Apple are joining mobile phone market. This will change the landscape of the mobile market. The troubling issue in the mobile market was the usability. The traditional mobile phone players have been failing to achieve this goal. But this consumer-oriented players are very good at easy user interface. This year would be a milestone for easier mobile phone userability.
